Abstract Eel Anguilla marmorata was fed the diet containing 0% ,10% ,20% ,and 40% of feather peptide meal as fish meal replacement protein resources for feed to determine an optimum addition ratio of feather peptide meal .Results showed that the feather peptide meal was compliance with SC/T 1004-2010 and NY 5072 in good viscose-elasticity ,nutrition ,and health indicators .However ,the feather peptide meal became black in color ,glutinous ,and low content of crude fat ,calcium ,and phosphorus when it was added into the diet more .The feeding trail revealed that the optimal addition of feather peptide meal was 20% for A .marmorata grow th ,feed intake and feed conversion rate .
