Abstract T he changes in 10 common species of fish resources w ere analyzed in the Bohai Sea around Shan‐dong province based on the data (1996 -2012) of marine capture productions in Shandong province ,and the reason of the changes and the policy guarantee measures were discussed .The capture production in the Bohai Sea around Shandong province has been increased since 1996 ,and declined significantly since 2007 , with steady and diversified structure in fish stock .The stocks of soiuy Lizahaematocheila ,pomfret Pam‐pus argenteus and hairtail Trichiurus lepturus were declined notably due to excessive exploitation of ma‐rine living resources .Along with development of marine management ,stock of Japanese spanish mackerel Scomberomorus niphonius was stable ,and anchovy Engraulis j aponicas had been in severe recession since 2006 because of many year development in a large scale .
