Abstract The effects of three ecological environments on immune factors were evaluated in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) .The Nile tilapia (body weight 200—500 g) were randomly selected as research materials from three ecological environment ,namely seawater ponds (a salinity of 28) ,freshwater ponds and reservoirs .The biochemical method was used to determine the activities of alkaline phosphatase (AKP) ,acid phosphatase (ACP) ,peroxidase (POD) ,and glutathione reductase (GR) and protein con‐centrations in serum of Nile tilapia from three ecological environments .The results showed that there were no significant differences in the activities of AKP and ACP for individuals in the three ecological environ‐ments (P > 0 .05) .The activities of POD and GR and protein concentrations were significant differences (P < 0 .05) ,with the order as reservoirs > seawater ponds > freshwater ponds .The Nile tilapia in res‐ervoirs has high activity of phosphatase in serum .
