Phytoplankton Community Structure in Waters near Tianjin Port |

Abstract Features of the phytoplankton community structure were studied in waters near the Tianjin Port in April ,June ,August ,September and November in 2014 .The results showed that a total of 40 species from 20 genera belonging to 17 families in 2 phyla were identified in the surveyed area .The cell abundance of phytoplankton in survey area was from 0 .03 × 104cells/L to 10 .12 × 104cells/L ,density from 0 .28μg/L to 32 .50 μg/L ,the absolute dominat bacillariophya in phytoplankton species ,including 28 species from 13 genera belonging to 28 families ,accounting for 68 .3% of the total species .The average of Shannon‐Wiener index ,Margalef and Pielou index of phytoplankton in the 5 cruises was 1 .2462 ,0 .7539 and 0 .4305 ,re‐spectively .The comprehensive analysis revealed that the phytoplankton biodersity in the Tianjin Port near waters of Bohai Bay was low level and simple in community composition .
