| Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicines on Growth and Nonspecific Immunity in Yellow Catfish Pelteobagrus fulvidraco |

Abstract The yellow catfish (Pelteobagrus fulvidraco) juveniles were fed the diets supplemented with Chinese herbal medicines at a rate of 0%,0.5%,1.0%,and 2.0% for 60 days to evaluate the effect of Chinese herbal medicines on growth and non-specific immunity. There was significant effect of the addition of 0.5% Chinese herbal medicines on the growth (P＜0.05),and very significant enhance effect of the addition of 1.0% and 2.0% Chinese herbal medicines on the phagocytic activity,and lysozyme activity (P＜0.01).
