LIU Yang,LI Yong,WANG Hua,ZHOU Bangwei,WANG Xiaochen,ZHAO Ningning
The 5 × 2 two‐factor random animal experiment was conducted in the industrial culture condition with closed recirculation aquaculture system for 56 days to investigate the effect of monthly satiation de‐gree (MSD) and daily feeding ratio(DFR) on growth ,water quality ,food intake and immunity of juvenile halfsmoth tongue‐sole Cynoglossus semilaevis Günther with body weight of (291 .47 ± 4 .23) g and to ex‐plore an optimal feeding mode to improve efficiency of economy and ecology .The juveniles were fed at four levels of 80% ,90% ,100% ,and 110% of M SD and tw o levels of DFR including 3 times a day at a ratio of 42(first)∶29 (second)∶29(third) ,and 1∶1∶1 ,equal amount each time ,with 8 triplicate treatments . The results showed that MSD had very significant effect on daily weight gain (DWG) ,specific growth rate (SGR) and daily food intake(DFI) (P<0 .01) ,and that DFR also had significant effect on DWG ,SGR and food conversion ratio (FCR)(P<0.05) .Under inequality feeding ,there were 53 .68% higher DWG and 37 .31% higher SGR in 100% MSD than 80% MSD (P<0 .01) .In equality feeding ,however ,there were 43 .73% higher DWG and 36 .11% higher SGR in 100% MSD than 80% MSD (P<0.01) ,with the maxi‐mal daily weigh gain (3 .60 ± 0 .18) g under 100% MSD and equality feeding .Both MAD and DFR showed significant effect on the relative concentration of ammonia in water (P<0 .01) .There were 72 .22% higher (inequality feeding) (P<0 .05) and 117 .77% higher (equality feeding)(P<0.01)relative concentration of ammonia at 110% level than 90% level ,the maximal concentration of ammonia at 110% level .Both DFR and MSD had no significant effect on activities of lysozyme and superoxide dismutase (SOD) .It is conclu‐ded that feeding of 90% monthly satiation degree with different amount feeding is suitable for both grow th and water environment ,and that the combination feeding of 100% monthly satiation degree with equiva‐lence feeding is used for the best grow th .

476 Effect of Dietary Phospholipid Levels on Fatty Acid Composition in Body Tissues of Catfish (Pangasius sutchi)
MA Yanqun,HUANG Kai,CHEN Tao,YU Dan
A feeding trial was conducted to determine the effects of dietary phospholipid level on fatty acid composition in body of catfish (Pangasius sutchi) .Five test diets containing different phospholipid supple‐ment levels of 0% in group 1 ,and 1% in group 2 ,2% in group 3 ,3% in group 4 ,and ,4% in group 5 were fed to the catfish for 56 days .The results showed that the content of C18 :3n3 in the body tissues (liver ,muscle ,abdominal fat) was increased with increasing dietary phospholipid level ,while the change of C18:1n9 content was opposite .The HUFA content in liver in group 5 was the maximum among groups , while the content in gourp 1 was the minimum .The content of fatty acid class in the three body tissues fol‐lowed that :∑SFA> ∑MUFA > ∑PUFA> ∑ HUFA .The major SFA ,MUFA and HUFA in diets and body tissues all were C16 :0 ,C18 :1n9 and C22 :6n3 ,respectively .The findings indicate that the fatty acid composition of liver ,muscle ,abdominal fat is affected by the dietary fatty acid composition to some ex‐tent .The maximal HUFA transformation ability was observed in the liver and muscle tissues in group 5 .

485 Effects of Glycerol on Growth and Polysaccharides Accumulation of Alga Isochrysis zhanj iangensis
YANG Haibo,WANG Qian,CAO Xupeng,XUE Song
Effects of glycerol concentration (41 mmol/L ,110 mmol/L and 206 mmol/L ) on grow th and polysaccharides accumulation of alga Isochrysis zhanjiangensis were investigated in rich - nitrogen and limited-nitrogen culture systems by means of single factor experiments .The results showed that the cell density ,content and yield of polysaccharides were higher in 41mmol/L glycerol than those in the other glycerol concentrations . T he cell density , content and yield of polysaccharides in rich‐nitrogen culture system were 7 .73 × 107 cells/mL ,16 .21% and 0 .32 g/L ,respectively ,while those in limited‐nitrogen culture system were 5 .29 × 107 cells/mL ,54 .43% and 1 .02 g/L ,respectively .These data explained that lower glycerol concentration and higher nitrogen concentration were advantageous to the growth of I . zhanjiangensis (the biomass in the former was 1 .46 times as that in the later) ,however ,when glycerol concentration and nitrogen concentration were lower at the same time , the cell accumulated more polysaccharides (the content and the yield of polysaccharides of the later were 3 .36 times and 3 .19 times as the former ,respectively ) .No matter the difference in nitrogen supply ,with the increasing concentration of glycerol ,the cell density and polysaccharides content of I .zhanjiang‐ensis showed a decreasing trend . It indicated that high concentration of glycerol inhibited the growth of I .zhangjiangensis and the accumulation of polysaccharides .So ,I .zhangjiangensis should be cultured in the limited‐nitrogen culture system with low concentration of glycerol at inoculation to promote the accumulation of polysaccharides . The findings will provide reference with producing natural products of high value .

491 Phosphorus Cycling in Intensive Grass Carp Culture
ZHANG Man,GU Qianhong,LI Xuejun,SONG Dongying,ZHOU Chuanjiang
Understanding of the phosphorus cycling approach in aquaculture ecosystem provides theory basis with improvement of cultural benefits and decrease in phosphorus emissions . We therefore manipulated different phosphorus concentrations in fodder to study the influences of phosphorus concentration on grow th ,feed efficiency and phosphorus cycling in intensive aquaculture ponds of grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idellus .Fish in two treatment groups (A and B groups) were fed compound feed containing phosphorus content of 1 .02% and 0 .52% . A ten‐weeks observation showed that the feed efficiency was 68 .4% and mass increasing rate was 72 .3% in group A .In contrast ,the feeder efficiency was 77 .3% and mass increasing rate was 74 .3% in group B . There were significantly higher fodder efficiency and greater yield in group B than those in group A .Treatment with low phosphorus fodder led to more phytoplankton biomass ,suggesting that it could pump phosphorus from sediments and accelerate the efficiency of material circulation through food chain .The result explained the reason why treatment with low phosphorus fodder led to higher fodder efficiency and greater fish field . Increasing phosphorus concentration in fodder was not beneficial to improve fish field in intensive grass carp .On the contrary ,it could lead to more phosphorus retention in the sediment and pollution in the water .Suitable phosphorus contents in fodder can accelerate the grow th of phytoplankton directly ,ultimately getting satisfied fish field and protecting environment simultaneously .
