Abstract:The dynamic changes and correlation in main physicochemical factors in water were studied in white leg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei ponds in Donghaidao of Zhanjiang, and the NQI was adopted to estimate the quality of water in the ponds. The results indicated that DO, pH, temperature and salinity fluctuated gently, but the concentration of COD, DOC, nutrient and chl-a increased relevant to culture. The correlation was complicated among the main physicochemical factors while there was a significantly positive correlation between chll_a and nutrients. The NQI value showed that the eutrophication increased rapidly in the middle and late of culture period, implying serious eutrophication in the shrimp ponds.
